HATTIESBURG, Miss. - It's official, aAfter being closed for almost a year, the African American Military History Museum is back open for business.
Museum officials were forced to close it's doors after the Feb. 10 tornado last year.
The room was packed filled with guest at today's ceremony.
Museum officials took the time to honor WWII veterans from the Pine Belt that are still living.
The men that came say they are grateful for the recognition. They would like for others to remember the sacrifices that all military men and women make, especially those that are still serving the United States today.
