Kinston, South Central survive in Friday Night Hoops

Posted: Updated:
SNOW HILL, N.C. -

Both the Kinston Vikings and South Central Falcons remain atop their respective conferences after a couple of nail bitters on Friday night. Kinston, who cruised past Greene Central at home, struggled in Snow Hill. The Vikings outscored the Rams 27-15 in the 3rd Quarter and held on to win 75-70.

Meanwhile in Winterville it was South Central who made yet another big comeback to win on Friday. The Falcons took over the 4th Quarter of Thursday's matchup against JH Rose to jump into first place in the Eastern Carolina 3A/4A. Different night, same result. Tyrick Suggs had a game high 28 points and South Central survives 73-68.
