NC man charged after 3 women shot to death

Posted: Updated:
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -

Authorities in Cabarrus County say a Charlotte man is being held without bond after he was charged in the shooting deaths of three women in separate incidents near Concord.

The sheriff's office said 37-year-old Darryl Angelo Anderson is charged with three counts of murder. He was arrested after the women were shot about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Sheriff Brad Riley said two of the victims were shot at adjacent mobile homes, while the third victim was shot at a home a short distance away.

Riley said the shootings were not random and appeared to be related to a domestic situation.

The three victims were identified by the sheriff's office as a mother, daughter and neighbor.
