Crews spent several hours Saturday battling a large hay fire in Montgomery County.
The fire started in a field near Dunlop Lane in the Hickory Wild community outside Clarksville.
Firefighters sprayed water onto a nearby house to keep it from catching fire.
Crews let the fire burn out overnight into Sunday morning.
Clarksville Now reports over 100 bales of hay were destroyed, as well as a large barn.
The fire is under investigation and authorities are asking for the public's assistance in gathering information.
