A Myrtle Beach hotel honored an employee with breast cancer on Sunday.
The Myrtle Beach Marriott honored Blakely Tuten with a bake sale and other activities to raise money for her treatment.
Doctors diagnosed her with stage four breast cancer last April, just days before her wedding.
Since then she's had chemotherapy, radiation, and a double mastectomy.
Tuten said she's thankful for the community's support.
"I really didn't expect anything and for them to orchestrate this whole thing and call in the public and call in the people from Coastal where I graduated from and just everybody I've had anything to do with has been so helpful," said Tuten.
Tuten said she has a scan on Monday to know if she is cancer free.
A fund has been set up for Tuten at the Myrtle Beach Marriott. If you would like to send a check, they ask you make it out to the Blakely Tuten medical fund.
