3 Killed In Crash, Including 2 MGM Students

"It was terrible, it seems like a dream it really does because you hear about this stuff on the news, you see it in movies but to actually see a truck that's on fire and to know that somebody's in there is one of the most harder things," said Marcus Williamson, who was first on scene Saturday night.

Williamson's friend, 17-year-old Brady Hoffman, was involved in a 3-vehicle crash near Big Creek Lake on Highway 98 Saturday night around 11 p.m.

"I checked his pulse. I didn't feel anything. The truck that was on fire was right beside us so I requested that everybody help me get the people back if somebody would have came up to the fire and it would have exploded I didn't know whether or not it would have exploded and hurt somebody else so we got them back," he says.

Inside the truck on fire was 69-year-old Robert Albritton and his 15-year-old grandson Brandon.

Both were pronounced dead on scene.

Brandon attended MGM High School in Semmes with Brady. It's a big loss for such a tight-knit community.

"Brady was a senior at Mary G. Montgomery High School. He was good hardworking kid he got A's, at least from what I know he got good grades. He was a sweet guy, he joked around a lot. He was on the of them people that always laughed about something every day. He never had a full bad day," says Williamson.

Counselors met with students on campus Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
