    Police are asking for your help in finding a missing Russell County man.
    Police are asking for your help in finding a missing Russell County man.
Virginia State Police are investigating an accident that sent two people to the hospital.

Trooper Travis Howard told News Channel 11 the accident happened at about 7:30 Sunday morning on U.S. Route 23 near Big Stone Gap.
Howard said the driver was traveling northbound when he veered into the median and flipped the vehicle.

The female passenger was ejected from the vehicle and flown to Holston Valley Medical Center.

The male driver was taken to Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap and is stable.

There is no word on the woman's condition.

The crash is still under investigation.
