South Central and Rose advance to ECC Tournament Final

GREENVILLE, N.C. -

South Central and JH Rose will meet for a fourth time this season, except this time it will be for the Eastern Carolina 3A/4A Conference Tournament crown. The Falcons beat Pitt County rival DH Conley on Wednesday 51-43 to advance. Meanwhile the Rampants beat New Bern 59-50.

In other high school basketball action, Kinston beat up on North Lenoir in the 2A ECC Tournament. The Vikings won 68-36. Their girls were also big winners on Wednesday. The Lady Vikings beat Ayden-Grifton 73-13. Both sides will host Goldsboro on Friday.

In the Eastern Plains 2A it's Farmville Central who remains in the drivers seat of the conference. The Jaguars beat North Pitt to take control of the league on Friday, then followed that up with a dominant performance against Beddingfield on Wednesday. Farmville won 87-60.
