A local high school orchestra has a rare opportunity to work with a world class musician this week.
Science Hill Orchestra got the chance to work with Mark Wood -- he is one of the founding members of the Trans Siberian Orchestra and he's jamming here in the Tri Cities.
It's part of a workshop called "Electrifying Your Strings", and it's not his first time to our region - he traveled to Johnson City last year too.
According to Wood, "The health and the strength of this string program not only allows me to come back a second year and really, really create a tremendous experience in concert experience for the community but it is really about bring people together to support and continue supporting this music program."
And that's exactly what he plans to do, Wood and the Science Hill Orchestra take the stage tomorrow night at seven -- at Science Hill's Auditorium.
