South Central Boys win ECC Tourney Title

WINTERVILLE, N.C. -

The South Central Falcons saved their best game of the season for last! Led by guard Tyrick Suggs, South Central beat Pitt County rival JH Rose 86-59. Early on it was all Falcons. They led 26-2 and never looked back. They'll host a playoff game this upcoming Monday.

The South Central girls were not quite as lucky. Crystal Jerome had a game high 14 points but it would not be enough. DH Conley wins the ECC Tournament Title Game 40-37.

In the Eastern Carolina 2A its the Kinston boys and the Kinston girls who won championships. The boys, led by Mykel Hart, beat Goldsboro 71-44. In the early game the girls cruised past Goldsboro as well, 63-27. Brittany Drumgoole had 13 points.
