Dozens put their rock climbing skills to the test at ECU

Posted: Updated:
Fifty students, from four universities, climbed their way to East Carolina University for a rock climbing competition.

Saturday’s competition was part of the Eastern Edge Climb Series. The series is a student-run rock climbing competition among ECU, Duke University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Old Dominion University.

Throughout the year each school holds an event on their campus and the school with most points at the end of the series wins prizes.

This is the fourth year ECU has participated in the Eastern Edge Climb Series. Since joining the series the university has combined its annual Flatlanders Fling, which is in its 17th year.
