Erin Andrews is new co-host of "Dancing With the Stars"

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Brooke Burke-Charvet is out as co-host of "Dancing With the Stars" and Erin Andrews is in. Burke-Charvet tweets that it was a "shocking pre-season elimination."

She joked that she was canned because she and Harold Wheeler and his band were putting together their own road show. Wheeler was fired earlier. Burke-Charvet tells fans she "had a blast" in her seven seasons and is "ready for change."

Burke-Charvet replaced Samantha Harris in 2010, the same year Erin Andrews competed and came in third. The cast for Season 18 will be announced March 4 on "Good Morning America."
