City officials say a downtown club near where a shooting happened early Sunday morning has a history of problems that have repeatedly drawn warnings. Following this weekend's shooting - Savannah's City Manager issued an emergency suspension of Dosha Ultra Bar's license. Stephanie Cutter says the police report ties the shooting, which happened about a block away, to the club and that it was the last straw following months of complaints about noise and crowd behavior at the club, "We've really been getting complaints from adjacent businesses - about the nuisance of the club and then also from our police department as they respond to look into the complaints - from noise to fighting to shots being fire - and it was just time to do something."
The bar owners have a date of March 20th scheduled to go before City Council for a show-cause hearing and appeal to have their license reinstated.
