A grand jury in Savannah has again indicted a man in connection with a April 2013 murder.
Darrell Hendrix is charged with Malice Murder, three counts of Felony Murder, nine counts of Violation of Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony and several other charges in connection with the shooting death of Rodrick Richardson.
Richardson was killed on April 25th of 2013.
He was found inside his car that had crashed into a fence near Hodge Elementary School at Mills B. Lane and Hopkins Street.
Police later said Richardson died of a gunshot wound.
"If he wanted to rob him, if it was a busted robbery, he could have taken off. He didn't have to kill him. My son wasn't armed, so his life wasn't threatened. I just want to know why had had to kill him," Richardson's father, Larry, said during a press conference in May.
Darrell Hendrix was previously indicted on charges in connection with this case in August.
He now faces 21 charges in all.
