The "Nutrition Facts" section mandated by the food and drug administration is getting a makeover for the first time in two decades.
The FDA has proposed new rules that would change serving sizes as well as the guidelines for different daily vitamins and nutrients.
A serving of soda, for example, would go from eight to twelve ounces.
First Lady Michelle Obama will announce the new guidelines at the White House on Thursday.
Once finalized, they would go into effect in two years.
