16 year old arrested in Wake Co. school bus hit-and-run

APEX, N.C. -

A 16 year old has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run that injured two students and a driver of a Middle Creek High School bus Thursday.

A spokesman for the Town of Cary confirmed a 16 year old from Apex was charged with felony hit and run with failure to stop and careless and reckless driving.

A spokeswoman for the Wake County Public School System said Bus 1029 was sideswiped by another vehicle between the elementary school and high school on Middle Creek Park Avenue.

The students and bus driver were evaluated for minor injuries.
