A total of four people were arrested Friday afternoon and are facing drug charges in Bulloch County.
Chief Deputy Jared Akins of the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office says the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team was conducting surveillance on suspects associated with a long-term heroin and cocaine sales operation earlier today.
Authorities pulled over two vehicles on Gentilly Road and arrested Emily Rushing, 26, Tambi Rich, 35, and Johnny Lee Branch Jr., 33, all of whom are from Statesboro.
Akins said authorities later searched Rushing's home on Nature's Way and found a quantity of heroin and multiple syringes.
That search also led to the arrest of 25 year old Michael Rice, also of Statesboro.
Rushing is charged with one count of Trafficking Heroin, one count of Possession of Cocaine and one count of Theft by Receiving Motor Vehicle after authorities learned that the Dodge Charger she was driving was stolen in Atlanta.
Rice is also charged with Trafficking Heroin and faces one count each of Sale of Heroin and Sale of Cocaine.
Rich and Branch each face one count of Possession of Cocaine.
