President Obama Urges Russian President to Stand Down in Ukraine

President Obama's message to Russian President Vladimir Putin seems clear and direct concerning Russia's entry into Ukraine. Obama told Putin  tonight (Saturday) that troops moving into that country was a "clear Violation" of Ukraine's sovereignty.

The White house says the leaders spoke to each other for about 90 minutes with President Obama showing his " deep concern" over Russian's actions over the past two days. He called on Putin to withdraw his forces and send them back to bases in Crimea. He also called on the Russian leader to refrain from interfering anywhere else in Ukraine.  Ukraine is in the midst of political unrest that began three months ago and just recently resulted in the ouster of that country's president.
