Durham student taken to hospital after hitting school bus

A Durham County school bus was hit Monday by a car driven by a student, Durham Public Schools said Monday afternoon.

Bus 460 was involved in an accident at the corner of Wake Forest Highway and Breedlove Avenue.

There were eight City of Medicine Academy students onboard at the time, but there were no injuries to the students.

However, the driver of the car was taken to the hospital.
