NC Bus Slides Off Road, Hits Gas Main Near Salisbury

A school bus in North Carolina hit an icy spot Friday morning, went down an embankment and reportedly struck a gas line.
There were three students on board the Rowan-Salisbury Schools bus at the time of the crash according to WBTV. The bus headed for West Rowan High School.
When the bus tried to turn off of Sherrills Ford Road on Majolica Road it hit an icy spot and slid down an embankment into a gas main.
No injuries were reported to anyone on the bus according to WBTV. Emergency crews are still on scene.
Another school bus in Rowan County was also reported in a ditch off of Dooley Road.
Rowan-Salisbury Schools are operating on a regular schedule Friday.
