Shooting in Onslow County

Sheriff's deputies in Onslow County responded to a shooting that happened just after 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Viewers tell 9 On Your Side it happened on Crown Point Rd, near Sand Ridge Rd., in Hubert.

Deputies and detectives are investigating the matter.

The Sheriff's Office said at least one person was injured, and the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

They said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident, and they do not believe there is a threat to the general public at this time.
