Spazz Fest returns to Uptown Greenville for fifth year

Posted: Updated:
Live music and creative arts festival begins March 20th.

Event organizers tell 9 On Your Side that Spazz Fest V is a multi-day and multi-venue festival dedicated to celebrating the live music and creative arts community, and Greenville’s established and growing music and art scene. The four-day event will be Thursday, March 20th through Saturday, March 22nd.

Here is how event organizers describe the event and its origins:

Spazz Fest evolved from a now-closed art gallery called The Spazzatorium, and in previous years was held in the abandoned tobacco warehouses of Greenville's industrial district and attracts hundreds of artists, musicians, writers, and attendees from around North Carolina and beyond.

Now in its fifth year, Spazz Fest is collaborating with Uptown Greenville, the City of Greenville’s uptown economic and cultural development leader, to provide new festival additions showcasing Greenville and Eastern North Carolina’s entrepreneurial spirit. With a backdrop of live music and art from local and nationally known musicians and artists, entrepreneurs and eager start-ups will engage and share their knowledge, passion, and ideas about business, IT, and the arts. New festival additions include:
