Ribbon cut on new Greenville VA Health Care Center

GREENVILLE, N.C. - A new health care center is officially open to receive veterans in Greenville.
Officials cut the ribbon at Greenville's VA Health Care Center Monday morning..
The 116,000 square foot facility is expected to offer a wide-range of primary outpatient services such as audiology, radiology, orthopedics, women's healthcare and dental services.  It’s projected to care for 20,000 veterans in the area.

"This new center will offer exceptional patient-centered care to a large number of veterans," said DeAnne Seekins, director of the Durham VA Medical Center who handles oversight of the Greenville center.

Tours of the facility were opened to the public following the ceremony.
