Lebo talks ECU - Wright State matchup

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, N.C. - Just because you didn't see East Carolina on your bracket doesn't mean they're not playing in the postseason this year.

No it's not the NCAA tournament, it's the collegeinsider.com tourney.

That should sound familiar because the Pirates made a few outstanding memories there last year.

The Pirates made it all the way to the championship game and Akeem Richmond hit the shot that will go down in university history, a 3-pointer, as time expired, to win the game and the tournament.

This year the expectations aren't quite as high and coach Lebo's just happy to be playing in mid-March.

The Pirates will be facing a 20-win Wright State.

ECU will be hosting the matchup Tuesday night at 7 o'clock.
