WISE COUNTY, VA (WJHL) -

More than 30 people have been arrested in a drug round up in Wise County.

Sarah Jessee, assistant commonwealth’s attorney for Wise County, said the arrests stem mainly from undercover operations by the Southwest Virginia Regional Drug Task Force.

The operation began Wednesday and continued Thursday morning. Jessee said 31 people have been charged in the roundup.

Additional arrests are not anticipated.

Brandie Baldwin was among those targeted in the roundup. She was already in jail on charges stemming from an arrest by Virginia State Police on accusations she sold hydrocodone to undercover agents.

Baldwin also faces charges in the 2012 death of her child, Emma Baldwin. Her trial in that case is scheduled for April.

Juwan Moore, her boyfriend, pleaded guilty to capital murder in Emma’s death earlier this year and was sentenced to life in prison.
