Update: Roanoke Police investigate crash

ApCo. tells us the accident caused power outages. Power should be restored by 7:30 p.m. to approximately 740 of its customers. 

UPDATE: Roanoke Police tell WSLS one person was taken to the hospital with injuries from the crash.

ApCo. is replacing a pole that was damaged in the accident.

Police say ApCo. also had to cut power to the lights at three intersections: Brandon Avenue and Main Street, Brandon Avenue and Brambleton Road, and Overland Drive and Brambleton Avenue.

Police tell WSLS traffic could be impacted for another couple of hours.
Roanoke Police are on the scene of a crash in Southwest Roanoke.

It happened at the intersection of Summit Avenue and Main Street.
