BOTETOURT COUNTY - UPDATE: Saturday - March 29th

In reference to yesterday's drug investigation two suspects are in custody. They are charged with distribution of heroin, conspiracy to distribute heroin, and obstruction of justice. The following two individuals were arrested: Brandon M. Calloway, 29, of Lynchburg and Karl C. Depas, 29, of Roanoke. They are being held in the Botetourt County Jail without bond, pending a preliminary hearing.

Friday - March 28th

Several people were arrested in a drug investigation in Botetourt County Friday afternoon. It happened around 2:30 p.m. in the 150 exit in Troutville.

When deputies were moving in to make arrests, two of the suspects tried to runaway and the other two people were taken into custody. Deputies and state troopers found the other two suspects who fled and later took them into custody.

No one was injured and officials say no information will be given yet.
