COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus firefighters are investigating after a man is found dead after a fire in a residence on the city’s southeast side.

According to Columbus firefighters, emergency units responded to the 3000 block of Stamford Bridge, at about 5:28 a.m. Sunday on the report of a fire.

After investigating the scene, firefighters found Michael Jackson inside the residence.

Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.

No word on the cause of death or what caused the fire at this time.

No other details were made available, but NBC4 will update when more is learned.
