3 arrested after meth lab fire injures 6-year-old in Orangeburg County

Three people are behind bars after a meth lab fire injures a 6-year-old girl in Eutawville, according to the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office.

According to Sheriff Leroy Ravenell, officers were called 107 Cypress Shore in Eutawville on April 7 in reference to a fire in a camper caused by a hot plate. A hot plate was not located in the camper by the fire department but components were located in the cooking of methamphetamine.

Four children were in the home during the time of the fire.

24-year-old Steven Nathaniel Cornell, 33-year-old Thomas Edward Mcardle, 30-year-old Aleia Maria Herndon and 24-year-old Angelica Maria Williams are all facing child abuse charges in the incident. Herndon and McArdle are facing methamphetamine charges.
