Fine weather all week

RPM model forecast for Tuesday RPM model forecast for Tuesday
Our weather this week will undergo a major turnaround, with mostly dry weather and a notable warmup in temperatures expected.

We had a streak of 5 straight days of highs in the 60s last week finally broken on Easter Sunday as Columbus reached 75º.  The unusual cool spell isn't coming back, as the overall pattern this week is a much warmer one for the Deep South and most of the country east of the Mississippi.

We will have one shot at more rain this week: a cold front will steadily move southeast and arrive in Alabama on Tuesday.  It could trigger scattered showers and possibly a few thunderstorms here Tuesday afternoon and evening before it moves through Tuesday night.

Air behind the front will not be any cooler, and in fact we should see a warming trend take us through the rest of the week that will have our highs in the 80s for several days with milder morning lows as well.  A weak disturbance could affect us over next weekend, but right now it appears the forecast will remain a dry one.
