Tracking a few chances for rain

Sunshine for the rest of the afternoon will give way to more clouds and a few showers Tuesday. The rest of the week will be relatively rain free until Friday afternoon when a cold front enters the southeast. The cold front will eventually stall out and provide us with a chance of rain both weekend days. A stronger system will move across the nation and arrive here Monday or Tuesday of next week.

MONDAY: Few more clouds late. Highs climb to near 78

Monday night: Mostly cloudy. Low: 59

TUESDAY:  Few showers as a weak cold front moves through. High near 77

Tuesday Night: Becoming mostly clear. Lows near 52.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny and warm. Highs near 81.

Wednesday Night: Clear. Lows near 56

Thursday:  Mostly sunny. Highs near 83.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear. Lows dip near 60.

Friday: Few showers. High: 82.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, a few lingering showers. Lows near 61.

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few showers possible.  Highs near 83.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, slight shower chance. Lows near 62.  

Sunday:  Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain. High: 84

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy. Lows near 63
