Kiwanis pancake fundraiser supports The Boys and Girls Club

Posted: Updated:
A Greenville service group is raising money by serving up some tasty breakfast foods.

The University City Kiwanis Club is serving pancakes and sausage all day at the Boys and Girls Club on Firetower Road in Winterville. They are raising money to support the Boys and Girls Club, a partnership the Kiwanis have had for 30 years.

For $6 it is an all you care to eat special when you eat on site, or for the same donation they will fix your order up to go.

Many local business and restaurants partner with the Kiwanis Club to provide the food supply for fundraiser.

“They are focusing a lot on academics now. It provides such a great structure for young boys and girls. It’s just a wonderful organization” said Ray Spears of the University City Kiwanis Club.

The Kiwanis also supports the Boys and Girls Club with their peanut and pecan sales.
