Three men arrested after shots fired in Kinston

KINSTON, N.C. - Three men are facing charges after shots were fired in Kinston Thursday.

Kinston Police responded to a shots fired call around 11:30 a.m. in the area of Simon Bright Apartments. Upon arrival, several shell casings were found but no suspects were in the area.

Police say a short time later they attempted to stop a possible suspect vehicle near Teachers Memorial School. Three men inside the vehicle jumped out and ran. They were later apprehended.

18-year-old Rashawn Franklin, 21-year-old Christopher Jones and 20-year-old Dexter Bradshaw are all facing several charges including possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm with altered serial number and resist obstruct and delay.
