Pitt CC improves to 30-12, Coach Tommy Eason shaves head for Riley's Army

Posted: Updated:
WINTERVILLE, N.C. - Pitt Community College continued its winning ways today in Winterville against Thomas Nelson. The Bulldogs won both games of a doubleheader. Game one was 10-0 then in game two they won 24-9. Pitt CC has one more game this season before they head to the Region X Tournament. They'll be the #3 seed and open play at 10 a.m. next Saturday in Kinston, NC.

Following the game Coach Tommy Eason let Jake May shave his head. May has fought cancer for over two years. He gets chemotherapy and still plays for Pitt CC. He had a double and two RBI's in that game today. Coach Eason, inspired by May, decided to shave his head and raised over $2,000 for Riley's Army doing it.
