He is being held at the Buncombe County Detention Facility on a $100,000 bond.

Police in Asheville were called to the mall on Tunnel Road after a report of shots being fired.

Authorities tell us a man on a motorcycle drove into the parking lot and started randomly firing shots at a car with two people inside.

He then crashed his motorcycle and ditched the bike, along with his helmet and gun and ran into the mall, Sgt. Dave Romick says.

According to officials, the suspect went into the mall at the Barnes & Noble store.
