Two men arrested in Lenoir County for larceny and possession of stolen goods

Lenoir, N.C. - Two men arrested in Lenoir County for larceny and possession of stolen goods.

27-year-old Joshua Devon Carter and 29-year-old Hakeem Danielle Sheppard were taken into custody after crashing a vehicle pulling a stolen trailer and forklift.

Deputies responded to the crash on Sharon Church Road to find the suspects attempting to flee the scene.
Deputies matched the vehicle to reports of previous thefts.

Each of the suspects are charged with conspiracy to commit larceny, two counts of felony larceny, and two counts of felony possession of stolen goods.
Both are in the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
Carter under a $100,000 bond and Sheppardd under a $50,000 bond
