ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, VA - Rockbridge County EMS Coordinator Robert Foresman says there's a search underway for a missing 52-year-old male named Tony Burke on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Foresman tells WSLS the man is about 6'1"-6'2", 240 pounds and is wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a blue and white bandana.

Foresman says a command post has been set up for the missing person at the Boston Knob Overlook (mile marker 38.5), and that Amherst County Public Safety has joined the search.

Rockbridge Co. EMS also says the missing person suffers from a traumatic brain injury.

Search teams along with search dogs are searching the woods in the area between the parkway and Irish Creek.
