Pulaski County principal rappelling building for charity

Posted: Updated:
A Pulaski County elementary school’s staff will "toss their boss" over the side of a building to raise money and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Critzer Elementary School principal Mike Grim is going "Over the Edge" in the upcoming fundraiser.

About 80 children are matched with bigs in Pulaski County, but some kids are on a waiting list because there aren't enough volunteers.

Teachers love the idea of their principal helping this non-profit that's doing so much in the community.

“I thought woo a chance to get even actually he's a great guy to work for he really is.  I think more than anything we just want to support big brothers big sisters, but being able to toss him off the building is kind of icing on the cake,” said Trina Cometa, Critzer kindergarten teacher.

“There's been a lot of staff eager to see that happen,” Mike joked.

Mike says he has rappelled before, but his skills are a little rusty.
