President Barack Obama will meet with families affected by recent the tornados in Arkansas that killed 16 people. He'll tour the area and meet with first responders and recovery workers as well.

Fast food workers will make a major announcement today in New York City about their nationwide campaign for higher wages. Some suspect they are planning another day of protests around the world.

The Science Museum of Western Virginia and Virginia Tech will make an announcement later this morning. The two are working together with local corporations and non-profits on a first of its kind event for the Roanoke and New River Valleys to launch in October. The announcement will be made at 10:30 at Center in the Square.

The Roanoke Valley's newest Bojangles' will have its grand opening this morning. The chicken chain, located off Route 220 in Hunting Hills will be the 6th location in the Roanoke area.
