Police ID woman found in Goldsboro motel in March

Goldsboro police have released the identity of a woman found dead in a room at a motel on March 16.

The woman has been identified as Nicole McDonald, 31, of Mullica Hill, NJ.

On March 16, officer found McDonald unresponsive at the Econo Lodge on at 704 Corporate Drive in Goldsboro.

Police said McDonald was picked up in Camden County, NJ on March 15 near Morgan Boulevard by a truck driver and brought to North Carolina.

Police were able to identify McDonald with help from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

McDonald’s death is still under investigation.
