USGA to offer free bottle of water to Women's Open fans

PINEHURST, N.C. -

Temperatures will soar in Pinehurst this week as the U.S. Women's Open begins play, and the USGA said Tuesday that it is taking steps to help fans.

Starting Wednesday, all fans will get a voucher for a complementary bottle of water at the course.

Also, the USGA has set up hydration stations throughout the course.

Designated air conditioning cooling sites and first-aid stations will also be available.
