BIRMINGHAM, AL - Today was a special day for a local 4 year-old boy who spent a big part of his young life battling cancer.

Just before his second birthday, Mason Greeson was diagnosed with Wilms tumor, which is a form of kidney cancer. Doctors were able to remove the tumor and Mason had follow up chemotherapy treatments.

Fight cancer is tough, and for someone as young as Mason, it can be even tougher. So the Make a Wish Foundation decided to surprise the 4 year-old with trip to Disney World.

Mason knew he would make it to the happiest place on earth but he did not know when it would happen.

Today, he and his family pulled up to the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport and were greeted by representatives from Make-A-Wish Alabama.
