ATLANTIC BEACH, N.C. -  The N.C. Recreational Water Quality Program issues warnings for two beach access points in Atlantic Beach.

Officials suggest you do not swim at the Fort Macon State Park access site at the end of Picnic Park Drive or near the end of Henderson Boulevard.

A third advisory is at the Junior Sailing Camp in Taylor's Creek at Lennoxville Road in Beaufort.

They took samples yesterday that show high bacteria levels.

The bacteria could cause stomach illnesses and skin infections.

The warnings do not mean the beach will be closed. More tests are needed before the warnings are lifted.
