HATTIESBURG, Miss. - An armed robbery led to a hit and run, and was followed by a highway pursuit this past weekend.

Two men and one juvenile were arrested by Hattiesburg Police Department.

Gerald Barnett, 18, Jaymar Booth, 18, and Daniel McNair, 17, were charged for robbing a man at gunpoint in the 200 block of Eunetta Street.

Witnesses said a black chevy drove from the scene.

Officers later responded to a hit and run a vehicle with the same description as the vehicle involved in the armed robbery.

Authorities tell us after a pursuit down Lincoln Road, the chase ended at the Old Highway 11 intersection, when officers used spike strips to stop the car.

Police say Booth, the one who was driving, got away from officers on foot and later turned himself in.

Officers later learned that the vehicle had been reported stolen in Biloxi.
