Posted: Updated:

CHARLOTESVILLE (WSLS) - Lifetime's true-crime show, "Unsolved Mysteries" is featuring the case of a murdered Virginia Tech student.

Morgan Harrington was murdered in 2009 after she attended a concert at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlotesville.

Harrington's family hopes attention from the show will help them find Morgan's killer. The segment is called "help find morgan's killer," and features her parents Dan and Gil Harrington pleading for any tips about Morgan's murder.

A man's DNA was found at the crime scene, which matched the DNA found during a rape investigation from 2005.

Morgan's father explained why finding the killer is so important to him.

"Our daughter Morgan is dead, but we don't want another girl to be dead. We really want anyone out there who has information leading to the conviction that killed our daughter to come forward. We want to help save the next girl," Dan Harrington said.

A $150,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to a conviction and arrest. People with information are asked to call (434) 352-3467 with any tips.
