Adrianna Hargrove

Adrianna Hargrove is very excited to achieve her childhood dream in becoming a weekend anchor/MMJ!

During her childhood, Adrianna watched Katie Couric and Al Roker on the “Today” show every morning before going to school and would come home from middle and high school to watch Nancy Grace and Piers Morgan.

Adrianna remembers watching news coverage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Laci Peterson murder/Scott Peterson trial, Natalee Holloway’s disappearance, and many other live coverage events around the country.

She believes having such an early interest in the news is what fueled her passion to tell it.

Adrianna received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Journalism at Averett University in 2017. During her senior year at Averett, she interned at the radio station, WWDN 1045 The Dan. In 2019, she became an Editor at WWBT NBC12 in Richmond, Va., and after 4 to 6 months of being an editor, she became a digital content producer, where she remained at that position for two years.

Adrianna Hargrove joined the WNCT team in December 2021 and can’t wait to see what Greenville has to offer her!

In Adrianna’s spare time, she enjoys yoga, discovering new restaurants, watching makeup tutorials (she’s a makeup fanatic & has a HUGE makeup collection), reading, and watching various documentaries on history, true crime, and other events that are happening around the world.
