Brandon Tester joined the WNCT digital team in March 2022.
Brandon is a native of Portland, Oregon, and graduated from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2017 with a degree in mass communications with a concentration in journalism.
Before coming to WNCT, Brandon was news editor at The Washington Daily News. Prior to that, he held a variety of news and sports reporting and editing roles at newspapers throughout the Sandhills region. He had stops at The Richmond County Daily Journal, The Laurinburg Exchange and The Robesonian. In college he served as editor of UNCP’s student newspaper, The Pine Needle.
In his free time Brandon enjoys watching sports, staying active, cooking and exploring Eastern North Carolina and beyond.
