Caitlin Richards

Caitlin Richards joined WNCT in November 2021 as a multimedia journalist.

She graduated from William Peace University in 2020 with a degree in Communication and was awarded the Communication Outstanding Graduate award. During her time at WPU, she was on staff and Editor-in-Chief of WPU’s publication, The Peace Times, where her passion for journalism grew even more. 

She also interned at WRAL in Raleigh.

After graduating from WPU, she headed to London, where she earned her master’s degree in Television Journalism from Goldsmiths, University of London. 

While in graduate school she produced, anchored, and reported for Goldsmiths’ weekly news show, “Gold News.”

In her free time, she enjoys trying new coffee shops, reading murder mysteries, and spending time with her friends and family.
