The public is invited to watch the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds perform tricks in the sky and on the ground during a free air show in Goldsboro in April.

The 2019 Wings Over Wayne Air Show will take place on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.

The bi-annual Air Show is the largest free air show in North Carolina and will feature the USAF Thunderbirds flying aerobatic team, which is based at Nellis AFB in Nevada.

Admission to the Air Show and parking are free to the public, and more than 100,000 people are expected to attend each day.

The Slocumb Gate, Berkley Gate, and Oak Forest Gate will open to the public at 8 a.m., and flying will begin at 10:00 a.m., each day of the Air Show.

For more details on event schedules, travel directions to each gate, and parking information, visit the Wings Over Wayne Air Show website.
