Authorities investigate house fire that killed 2 dogs in Wilson

Authorities are investigating a house fire that killed two dogs in Wilson on Monday.

According to North Carolina Fire Fighters Facebook page, the incident was reported on 6624 School Road.

Officials said the double-wide home was “heavily damaged” by the fire and that they found two small dogs dead in the house.

No other injuries were reported and the case is still under investigation.
